Leat

Earn the fee on every trade that passes.

A leat is the channel cut to carry water to a mill: you do not make the river, you decide where it runs, and it works for you on the way past. Leat puts your dollars in the path of the flow — liquidity in Uniswap v4's pools for tokenized stocks, earning the pool's fee from every trade that crosses your band of prices.

How it works

Cut the channel, take the toll

Three steps, one transaction, and everything stays in your own wallet.

1

Pick a pool and a band

A stock, and the range of prices you are willing to hold it across. Narrow earns more per dollar; wide keeps earning through a bigger move.

2

Put dollars in

Pay in USDG, in shares, or both. Whatever the band needs in the other token is swapped through the better of Uniswap v3 and v4 inside the same transaction, and the leftovers come straight back.

3

The market pays you

Every trade that crosses your band pays the pool's fee, and your share of it accrues to the position. Collect it, add to it, recentre it, or close it — all from your wallet.

The range

Where your money sits, and what that costs

A position's three states

  • Price inside your band. You hold some dollars and some shares, and the fee from every trade through it. This is where a position earns.
  • Price above your band. The market has bought your shares on the way up. You hold dollars, at prices inside the band, and earn nothing more until it comes back.
  • Price below your band. The market has sold you shares on the way down. You hold the stock, bought inside the band, and earn nothing more until it comes back.

The honest part

Making a market is not free money. Against simply holding the two assets, a range position gives up some of the upside and takes some of the downside — the loss to rebalancing that every liquidity provider carries. The fees are the payment for it, and the trade is only worth it when the fees are bigger than the drift.

So Leat does not model a yield. It shows what a pool has actually paid its liquidity since the pool list was generated, for a stated band, measured from the pool's own fee counters. A quiet week reads low, because it was.

Pools

Every market you can make

Uniswap v4 pools pairing a Robinhood stock, fund or metal with USDG, deep enough that a $1,000 trade barely moves them. Prices are read live.

Security

What you are actually trusting

Leat deploys nothing

There is no Leat contract. Every transaction this site builds goes to contracts Uniswap deployed on Robinhood Chain and published the source of:

  • PositionManager 0x58da…4fA7 — mints the position, holds nothing else.
  • PoolManager 0x8366…0951 — every v4 pool's tokens.
  • UniversalRouter 0x8876…0904 — swaps, and the one transaction that swaps and mints together.
  • Permit2 0x0000…8BA3 — how the tokens are moved, for the amount you signed for and no more.

The router itself restricts what this site can ask of your positions: its command for calling the position manager will only carry a mint. It cannot decrease, burn, or collect from a position you already own.

And what it can't protect you from

  • A tokenized stock is a token that tracks a share. It is not a share, and it carries the issuer's risk.
  • A range position can end up entirely in the side that fell. That is the job, not a malfunction.
  • Fees are what the pool paid before, not what it will pay next.
  • Leat is a front end. If it went away tomorrow, your position would still be an NFT in your wallet, and Uniswap's own interface would still open it.
FAQ

The short answers

Do I need both the dollars and the shares?

No. Put in whatever you have. Leat works out what the band needs on the other side and swaps exactly that much, in the same transaction, through whichever of Uniswap v3 and v4 quotes better. Anything the band can't use is sent straight back to you.

What is the fee I earn?

The pool's own trading fee, split among everyone holding liquidity across the price at that moment. The app shows the fee a trader pays and the part of it that reaches you — on this chain the protocol keeps a slice of every pool's fee, and pretending otherwise would flatter the numbers.

What does "recentre" do?

Destroys the position and builds a new one around today's price, inside a single transaction: nothing is ever loose in your wallet in between, and nothing is sold. Whatever the new band cannot use is returned to you.

Can Leat touch my position?

No. The only approvals you give are to Uniswap's Permit2, for the amount you are depositing, for a few minutes. The Universal Router refuses to do anything to a v4 position except mint a new one, and the position manager only takes instructions about a position from its owner.

Why can't I see a position I opened somewhere else?

Robinhood Chain's public node serves no log history, so a browser cannot enumerate a wallet's NFTs from the chain alone. Leat asks the block explorer, remembers what it has seen you open, and reads every one of them back from the position manager. When it finds fewer than the contract says you own, it tells you so.

What does it cost?

Gas on Robinhood Chain, and the pool's fee on the part of your deposit that has to be swapped. Leat takes nothing: there is no fee address in this site because there is no contract to put one in.

Put it in the current.

Pick a stock, pick a band, and let every trade that passes pay you for standing there.
